The Fukuro Blue Owl Teacup is pottery art designed for daily use, a quiet alternative to factory-made cups.

Handcrafted by artist Kazuhiro Kojima, the interior holds a stylized owl in raised relief, always present as it rests against the curve of the wall, giving the cup a subtle three-dimensional depth.

The blue glaze shifts gently across the surface, while slight irregularities at the rim keep an intentional wabi sabi character rather than a perfect uniform finish.

This Blue Owl Round Teacup holds a special connection to Their Imperial Highnesses Akishino and his wife. It was thoughtfully chosen during their visit to the Hikone Prince Hotel and later used during a break at the World Kite Museum in Yokaichi.
Princess Kiko expressed particular fondness for the teacup, leading to its eventual delivery to the Imperial Household Agency.
