I bought this teacup for my daughter-in-law. My husband and I had spent a month travelling round Japan and I had initially bought her a beautiful teacup (no handle like this) from a very old looking shop in Koyoto. I never asked the shopkeeper if it was suitable for drinking from because I just expected it was. However, when my daughter-in-law washed it before making her first drink the teacup went all discoloured and is ruined. I felt so disappointed and upset so I went online to find a teacup just as beautiful and suitable for drinking from! I saw Tsukushi and browsed their products and was instantly hooked by everything they stand for and everything they are. I found this absolutely beautiful teacup. The design and colour is beautiful and I knew instantly it was perfect for my daughter-in-law. She absolutely loves the teacup. I will definitely buy more products from this company because I know I would be buying true authentic hand made Japanese products and helping a family business.
