The Akafuji Fujiyama Rectangular Plate is pottery art designed for daily use, not display alone.

Hand-shaped at Nunobiki-yaki by master Kazuhiro Kojima, it captures Mount Fuji in deep iron red tones beneath a dark sky, achieved through the Nanasai Tenmoku glazing technique, a layered coloring method that creates subtle shifts and depth.

Gentle asymmetries in form and glaze reflect an intentional wabi-sabi character, distancing it from factory ware.
