Pine ash melts onto the clay, forming a natural ash glaze over parts of the yakishime surface, with no glaze applied by hand.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIts high-fired Stoneware body shifts unpredictably from warm brown to ivory, with faint purple hints as light changes.
